If the article had the comment you just posted ( reflecting business context) , I dont have a say in it. But it recommends not to care about names, which sends a wrong message.
Yes I take it seriously:
Some new programmer ,who may read this story,might take this as reference and start writing code to deliver faster ,without caring to have appropriate names for variables,methods etc.. we need to deliver sooner not faster, sooner refers applying all the clean coding skills, especially (names express intent , via Kent Beck from 4 rules of simple design)
